Week 7

#16 Learned a lot about wikis and discovered many innovative
ways the libraries are using them. See older postings. So, I am really starting to get Library 2.0ed out. But, I want to finish working through these exercises. I am familiar with wikis and use wikipedia all the time. I can definitely see the advantages to using wikis in librarys for readers advisory purposes. It would be neat if a patron could search the catalog for a book and then read what others have said about that book before locating it on the shelf. Using wikis amoung library staff would also be a great communication tool.
