follow up.............
On Library 2.0 & Web 2.0
In Wikipedia, Library 2.0 is defined as "services are constantly updated and reevaluated to best serve library users." I totally agreed with this definition. Library staff need to keep up with the emerging technology in order for us to assist our patrons. Patrons need to see us as confident professionals before they can trust us to dissimilate information to them. If a library is an information hub, it makes sense for its employees to be in tune with new technology and know how to use it to help patrons with research. It goes back to life learning because you're never too old to learn something new, otherwise, you will get left behind with the times.
