week 8, # 18 and 19 things (online applications & tools)
too far away. but I will arrive to it, in due time. Originally posted on 2/17/07 @ 5:14 pm. I am coming back today. I am changing it the calendar to today's 3/16/07 ., 4:07 pm.
I copy and paste, so I know what I am suppose to do, learn, practice, explore or just simply play.
Week 8: Online Applications & Tools
18. Take a look at some online productivity (word processing, spreadsheet) tools.
I typed this text using Zoho writer.
WELL HERE I AM TYPING USING WRITER.ZOHO.COM/EDITOR.IM
I AM WONDERING HOW CAN I POST THIS TO MY BLOG.
I AM GOING TRY. IF IF WORKS FINE, OTHERWISE I CAN ALWAYS TRY AGAIN. THAT IS MY CHOICE AND
PREROGATIVE.
I CREATED A ZOHO WRITER ACCOUNT. I POSTED A DOCUMENT ON MY BLOG. I NOTICED NEAT FEATURES, SIMILAR USED AT WORK. SUCH AS "KEEPING TRACK OF CHANGES" THAT REMINDS ME OF A DOCUMENT I RECEIVED BACK IN 2004 WITH SOME "VERY INTERESTING CHANGES". OOPS!!
19. Take a look at LibraryThing and catalog some of your favorite books.
thingISBN data in a single file
thingISBNs—all of them—are now available as a single ginormous XML file. This should help people get around the 1,000-calls-per-day limit for using thingISBN API, make it easier to perform local processing on thingISBN data, and—hopefully—allow crazy stuff we haven't even thought of. For more info see Tim's full post on Thingology.
I just added some book titles to my blog
By doing this, I have completed week #8 and things 18 and 19. Is there more? I have to check.
